Worry, overthinking, rumination – and always having to be ahead of what might happen. It's exhausting to have your head filled with looping thoughts, especially negative and worrisome thoughts. This exhaustion is something many students recognize.
Although we cannot completely eliminate overthinking, we can make these thoughts less disruptive by understanding and thinking about them differently.
In this workshop, we will take a closer look at overthinking. We will learn how to understand and accept that thoughts will arise. We will go through concrete exercises and strategies that can help us manage overthinking and worries.
This can help you find more peace. Hopefully, this way, overthinking will disrupt you less.
All higher education students who want to learn more about overthinking and worries.
The workshop is particularly relevant for those who find it difficult to find peace because their thoughts are disruptive. It is also for those who feel the need to keep themselves busy because thoughts come when they are alone.
The workshop is free of charge and all students in higher education can participate.
