SPS Introduction workshop for academic support

From 13 to 16 The workshop will vary between presentations, discussions and offer inspiration on how to support and mentor students with special needs.

Program

  1. Welcome and presentation with the possibility of asking questions.

  2. Tasks and the role as academic support/mentor - and advise on how to work with SPS students.

  3. Introduction to the typical challenges facing SPS students - information and explanation of the most common diagnoses.

  4. Introduction to and discussion about the supporting role and tools for support – inspiration for different tools to work with in your support and a joints discussion about their use.

In co-operation with The Board of Education and Quality (Styrelsen for Undervisning og Kvalitet) we are pleased to be able to invite you to a workshop with focus on the task of giving academic support and mentoring to students with special needs.

The target group is academic support teachers, who have not yet attended our Introduction workshop.

The workshop will vary between presentations, discussions and offer inspiration on how to support and handle students with special needs. During the workshop, we will serve coffee/tea and water.
